Black men and women who act as royal figures, the Adinkra symbols which replace the classic suits (spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs) and the back printed in the style of kente fabric, one of the most famous African fabrics in the world, pay homage to African cultures!

Adinkra are visual symbols, originally created by the Akan and Baoulé peoples of Ghana and the Gyaman Kingdom (present-day Ivory Coast). They represent concepts or messages. Used on fabric, walls, pottery, wood carvings and logos, Adinkra are originally symbols of royalty.

Today, adinkra symbols are everywhere, sublimated and perpetuated by weavers who make them into magnificent pieces of colorful fabric.
